Math Stations

We have had a great time learning our math routine in Room 9.  We start our day with a mini lesson and then we have a chance for individual practice at our seats.  After that we rotate through stations.  There are four stations.

     M- Meet with the teacher

A - All by Myself

T - Technology/Activity

H - Hands on Activity

 

 

It takes the students two days to rotate through the four stations. We are still learning the routines and expectations but I was able to take a few photos from our math session earlier this week!

 

 We are "Meeting with the Teacher" to talk about clocks.

 

 

 Students are playing a game called "Addition Top It" during the Hands On Activity group.

More group work!  We really talked about how to appropriately play games with a partner.
